H, it's been a minute since I have answered questions about this tek......I will first tell you that this is a compilation tek. This tek was written down one night by the guy who was on the other end of a fb msgr group with me and my friend KS. So this tek is how she extracts and mine and sprinkled in is the guys additions (some things I don't do) I will help you with answers.

1) Does step 10 mean repeat steps 8 and 9 three times?

~ Yes it does mean to do those steps multiple times. I will tell you to not shake your jars to hard becasue you can sometimes create and emulsion in the jar and the Nap wont separate, so be gentle. I do more of an agitation with my jar back in forth instead of shaking up and down. I also will flip my jars from end to end on the separation steps so I let them separate twice between agitation steps.

2) For step 16, how important is it to use a fan (high speed or not). Is that only to speed up the drying?

~ It is to speed up drying and the speed doesn't really matter. Just make sure the fan is blowing across the tray not at the tray.

3) At step 20, should the previously used Naptha be added to the jar of sludge that cooked overnight, then returning to step 8? For 3rd pull, how much new Naptha should be added, 100mL again?

~ Yes you can use the nap and add it to the cooked soup and do step 8 and 9 or you can use fresh, the amount of nap should at least be what your bark amount was if it's 50g then your naph is 50ml, if you are using 100g then use 100ml, so on and so forth.

4)  REPEAT THIS PROCESS….goes, at what step is the process rejoined?

~ What this means is the repeat process is the agitation, separate and pull. You can do as many pulls on a jar of soup you want, to make sure you get all the goods out, I usually don't do the crockpot until I have done at least four good pulls off of the fresh soup. Once you put heat to the soup the plant fats are what you will really get out, don't be fooled there are psychoactive properties in all spectrum of the plant.

5) Assuming this process is followed exactly, for three times, approximately how much product is yielded?

~ I can get anywhere between 2.5-3% yield when I have done a good extraction. That means everything you can pull out of the quantity you are extracting from. Quality of bark will determine yield more than a tek will.

6) The powder is very fine and is predominantly pink, though there is some inconsistency in that color, with some “streaks” of lighter and darker (some even grey), in the powder. Is that okay?

~ The color is fine, it's bark outer and inner bark have a ting of different colors. You also wont need a test kit you are the extractor so you will know that their is nothing other than DMT there. If you were getting from someone else then YES always test your stuff. No need here friend you are the alchemist!

***side note no need for the Coffee filters I dont use them.
