Possibly, but I wouldn’t expect low-dose Cialis (tadalafil) to reliably suppress DMT visuals, and I couldn’t find evidence that it does.

The obvious mechanism to investigate is the eye. PDE5 drugs can interact with PDE6, an enzyme involved in retinal phototransduction, which is why sildenafil can cause blue-tinted vision and other visual changes. But tadalafil is unusually selective: the FDA pharmacology data say it is about 700-fold more potent for PDE5 than PDE6, and clinically reported color-vision changes with tadalafil are rare. So at a low dose, I don't see a convincing retinal mechanism whereby tadalafil would somehow subtract psychedelic imagery.

The brain mechanism isn't very convincing either. DMT's psychedelic effects are principally serotonergic/cortical, whereas tadalafil mainly increases NO–cGMP signaling through PDE5 inhibition. There is evidence that 5 mg tadalafil can alter cerebral perfusion in some regions, so in principle it might subtly change the quality of a psychoactive state, but nobody has demonstrated that this translates into reduced DMT imagery.

And a straightforward metabolic interaction looks unlikely. Human DMT clearance involves mainly MAO-A, with contributions from CYP2D6 and CYP2C19; tadalafil is predominantly metabolized by CYP3A4 and isn't considered an important inhibitor of CYP2D6 or CYP2C19. So tadalafil shouldn't simply be chewing through DMT faster or preventing it from reaching an effective concentration.

There is one indirect possibility I'd take more seriously: hemodynamics and bodily state. Tadalafil vasodilates. Depending on the person and whatever else is onboard, that can affect blood pressure, dizziness, bodily sensation, autonomic tone, etc. A dramatically different somatic state could plausibly change how attention and perception organize during a DMT experience. That's a hypothesis, though—not a known Cialis/DMT phenomenon.

So if somebody is saying, “Whenever I take my 2.5 or 5 mg tadalafil, my DMT experience remains strong but the imagery is dramatically diminished,” I would find that interesting enough not to dismiss. Repeated within-person observations sometimes expose interactions nobody has formally studied. But pharmacologically, tadalafil would not be anywhere near my first suspect. Other medications, psychedelic tolerance, batch/concentration differences, route/delivery differences, sleep, and ordinary trip-to-trip variation would all be stronger suspects.

And if you're talking specifically about 5-MeO-DMT rather than N,N-DMT, I'd be even more cautious about attributing it to Cialis, because 5-MeO already has enormous natural variation in how visual versus nonvisual the experience is.

I think you definitely moved through this space into an area that seems more comforting , especially with the angel wings unless the angel wings terrify you...... we are factal, and I believe every time that we get into the DMT space that our fractal shifts and gives us different projections or perceptions.
