How’s it going fam? Just checking in, have been busy training for my first jiu-jitsu tournament that I haven’t been on here for a minute. I’m excited to see how I do, thankfully the temperature is dropping down again that I can do lab work in the garage without sweating lol. Once I get to work again, tutorial number 1 will pop up, stay tuned!

Terence McKenna's "Stoned Ape" theory links early human evolution to what?

    Explanation:
McKenna proposed in Food of the Gods (1992) that psilocybin mushrooms in the diet of early hominids accelerated the development of language and cognition. It remains a fringe idea with no supporting fossil or genetic evidence.

It’s been a crazy turn of events recently, in the middle of transferring work sites which I’m ok with since I’m in need of a new chapter. Also pushed to be even closer to home commute wise even though this was a forced transition. Long story short I have always kept my personal life private at work and never even disclose who is related to me when I go work with someone I know. Well long story short somehow someone in the company found out and it required me to be moved around which is ok since they were singling out other locations I have worked at before. Was glad to see some “favorited” people getting the boot as well so it all worked out, I was counting the days when certain issues would be cleared up. Regardless I work anywhere just fine, and looking forward to a fresh start. I will miss my amazing team, but I left something behind there memory wise like at all of the previous kitchens I have worked at with different cooks. This one was how amazing my grilled chicken is and honestly I don’t blame the Marines I feed or even my fellow staff. It makes me happy that I’m bringing quality to those that deserve it well. Now it’s time to bring that energy with me and see what this place can do!

My Comfrey plant eating up everything the ground has to offer. After I transplanted it I threw some of my compost around it including the palm tree leaves that were broken down but still stayed in its full form. I must say it really loved those nutrients. After watering it and letting it do its thing, it has taken over the whole section of that wall where rain run off goes too. Now that being a natural net I won’t be having that issue no more. Plus unlimited natural fertilizer it’s all a win win for me!

My Cayenne pepper plants are doing amazing! Again, the secret to a successful grow from seed is using the right kind of soil. Would i recommend Ocean Forest Fox farm to start up seedlings? 100% yes! But again, being a bit more pricey, I highly recommend using any compatible potting soil when transplanting the fully developed cup. Lowe’s potting soil and Miracle Gro worked perfectly for me since all I had to do was fertilize it with compost, rabbit manure and now that I have Comfrey I can do chop and drop while creating shade to help retain water during the hotter months! Going to germinate some seeds I got from a local seed bank. Shipping was fast and I’m excited to test these genetics out! I’ll have to move this tray of peppers to the other side that way my next cannabis grow will be ready. Doing batches of six seeds has allowed me to grow efficiently and keep me busy during the hotter months when I can’t do mycology in the garage. I say my favorite season is spring, I can garden and do mycology. Summer I can only garden, fall it starts to cool down but mainly a Mycology season for me while the plants I grow are getting ready for harvest in the upcoming 2 months before winter hits! As for working on non auto plants I did find a local nursery from my old hometown who also do mycology stuff. Going to hit them up and workout a deal so I can stick the mother plant in the ground at my place. After seeing my Comfrey plant invade the open space where rain run off runs I’m sure a mother plant will make a perfect net as well to capture the rain water. Also the ability to have it regrow buds all year round would be a plus. My love for cultivating is similar to my job in culinary, using your hands for a unique purpose only makes life better! Mush love!

    Explanation:
The Colorado River toad, also called the Sonoran Desert toad, secretes 5-MeO-DMT from its parotoid glands. Licking the animal is a persistent myth and a dangerous one, since the raw secretion also contains toxins.

Finally got some Cayenne pepper seedlings taking off! Done with Fox Farm Oceanforest soil with a guarantee of growth. Once these seedlings grow out of the red cups I’ll be transplanting them to 5 gallon or the 7gallon Walmart reusable grow bags. Moral of the story though. Never use cheap potting soil for starting any plant out. Use the real good stuff for root development and water it well. Then once it grows out of its first container with developed roots transplant it using any old potting soil that drains well, Miracle Grow, Walmart, Home Depot and Lowe’s brands work well for developed plants. But for starting a seedling out Fox Farm is by far superior!
